Amy Pickvance is a
Solicitor with the Personal Injury Department. She specialises in
Clinical Negligence law and is a member of the Association of
Personal Injury Lawyers.
Amy graduated in
English Literature from Oxford University, before taking the law
conversion course at Nottingham Law School where she was awarded an
LLB. She qualified as a Solicitor in 2009, following successful
completion of a training contract at a Southampton law firm, where
she specialised in Clinical negligence, Education law and Human
Rights. She has also previously qualified as a barrister, and is a
member of Middle Temple, having been called to the Bar in 2008.
Amy has experience
of cases involving delay in diagnosis and treatment of cancer,
orthopaedic and maxillofacial injury, A&E care and claims under the
Fatal Accidents Act.
Outside of work,
Amy’s interests include travel, and visiting places of architectural
interest. She also enjoys painting in oil and acrylics.
