Atherton Godfrey has been accepted by the Child Brain Injury Trust as a member of their UK Legal Services Directory 2012.

To make it in to the directory, firms have to evidence that they have the specialist skills and knowledge needed to provide legal support for brain injured children and their families.

Atherton Godfrey has more than 20 years experience in pursuing brain injury claims.

Our team of specialist staff is headed by John McQuater, partner and head of litigation, who is a recognised author on personal injury matters and is recommended by Chambers UK as a ‘Leader in his Field’.

John was named as Personal Injury Lawyer of the Year 2011, was president of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL) from 2009 to 2010 and provides extensive training to other personal injury professionals throughout England.

He said: “Injuries to children have a profound effect on the whole family and extremely difficult decisions have to be made.

“Parents want to know why or how their child was injured and we can help them get these answers.

“We will also pursue a claim to obtain the financial support needed to help secure their child’s future.”
