One of our partners will be using his personal injury expertise to help other solicitors achieve the prestigious Law Society Accreditation.
John McQuater, a partner at Atherton Godfrey solicitors, has been appointed to work with the Law Society to make sure that solicitors throughout England and Wales who apply for Personal Injury Accreditation meet the rigorous standards required. To be awarded with the accreditation, solicitors must be suitably qualified and experienced enough to make sure their clients receive the highest standard of care and their claims have the best possible outcome. John, who was named Personal Injury Lawyer of the Year 2011, said: “The accreditation is very important as it gives people the assurance of knowing that the solicitor has experience in handling a wide range of cases, takes a proactive approach to evidence gathering and is fully capable of taking the case to trial if required. “There are a rapidly increasing number of companies offering to pursue personal injury claims. The consumer must satisfy themselves that their chosen solicitor will act in their best interests. Making sure they are accredited by the Law Society is a good place to start.”
