In 2009, Doncaster Solicitor John McQuater of Atherton Godfrey received high recognition for his work and expertise in the field of personal injury compensation claims when he was elected as President of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL).

Having now served his full term in the role, John recently handed over his presidency at the APIL Annual Conference. Reflecting back over his term, he commented “This has been an interesting, but busy year.”

John now returns full time to championing the personal injury claims of local people as a Partner and Head of Litigation at the town centre based law firm Atherton Godfrey.

His ties to the APIL haven’t ended as of yet however, as John stated “I shall still be very much involved in the work the Association is doing, speaking at conferences later in the year dealing with catastrophic injuries and also clinical negligence”.
