2010 has already been an exceptional year for Atherton Godfrey Legal Executive Shrene Butterworth. Having worked with the Doncaster law firm since the age of 16, Shrene was recently admitted as a Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives - the highest level of membership in the Institute.

Ever since completing her Trident work experience with the firm, prior to sitting her GCSEs, Shrene has had aspirations of a career in law and returned to the firm in an administrative role upon finishing school. Since then she has worked her way up through the ranks to now become a qualified lawyer, specialising in family law.

“Shrene is a great example of how hard work and commitment can result in successful achievement and career progression” stated Don Bird, Partner at the firm. “We are extremely proud that she has accomplished so much here since her initial work experience placement with us” he added.

In addition to her career success Shrene was also married in the month of May, making 2010 a truly milestone year for her.
