Are you ready for shared parental leave?

As a reminder, or if you missed our last article, the new law will mean that parents whose children are due to be born on or after 5 April 2015, and who meet the eligibility criteria, will have access to a flexible system of shared parental leave. Parents will be able to take up to 50 weeks of shared parental leave in total, and care share it as they want.
It will be important for employers to seek advice on how to deal with this new area of law to make sure that a policy is created and that workers are treated equally and fairly.
