Careers

Atherton Godfrey is a leading law practice ranked in both Chambers UK and the Legal 500. We employ around 120 staff in both legal and support roles. As one of the largest law firms in the area, we are able to offer a wide range of career opportunities, with excellent prospects for successful candidates.

Current vacancies at Atherton Godfrey:

IT & Facilities Technician (maintenance)

Reporting to the IT & Facilities Manager, the post holder will be part of a small, flexible, multi-skilled team of technicians that have responsibility for ensuring satisfactory operation of IT and communications systems, developing bespoke system application, maintaining the firm’s office buildings and equipment and providing key elements of the office support services.

Whilst it is highly desirable for the successful candidate to be multi-skilled with experience in both facilities maintenance and in IT, this technician vacancy is aimed more towards those who would feel comfortable in practical duties, being more focused on building maintenance and office operations.

The successful candidate will be able to work flexibly and co-operatively in a small team and will enjoy a role that is physically active with a moderate amount of manual handling. Some work outside of normal office hours and occasionally at weekends will be required.

A current valid driving licence and use of a car (mileage costs reimbursed), will be required as the job entails regular short journeys for deliveries, collections and occasionally taking staff on home visits.

Remuneration will be competitive and will reflect relevant experience.
