Researchers from publishers Chambers and Partners spend many months interviewing clients around the globe so that they can compile the legal guides for each country.
The UK guide has just been published and as a result of research, Atherton Godfrey is recommended for its clinical negligence work and is ranked with some of the largest law firms in the country.
One of our clients commented: "The team was spot-on and didn't take any nonsense from the other side. I would recommend this team to anyone."
Individual clinical negligence solicitors are also recommended and include John McQuater, partner and head of litigation who was recommended for the third year running. John was also listed in the Elite Lawyers guide.
The team's head of department, Christopher Noble was `ranked on the back of heartfelt client feedback and a strong caseload'. One client commented: "He was brilliant. He kept me informed every step of the way."
And Bob Allen, an associate with the firm `remains a popular figure with clients, who appreciate his meticulous approach, personable nature and 24/7 availability.' A client told researchers:"I couldn't fault him. He was always available whenever I needed him and made it clear he was there for me as a friend as well as a lawyer."
Charles Godfrey, the firm's senior partner, said: "We would like to say a sincere "thank you" to everyone who took part in the research.
"It's only when the directory is published that we get to see what the clients have said and it is really pleasing to receive such wonderful comments."
