John McQuater, partner and head of litigation at Atherton Godfrey, has joined the executive committee of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL).
John is returning to the executive committee after leading the organisation as president from 2009 to 2010.
“I’m very happy to be back and humbled that I and my fellow executive committee members have been entrusted with tackling some very real challenges for injured people.
“Reforms currently moving through Parliament which restrict ‘no-win no-fee’ as a method of funding cases mean that some of the most vulnerable injured people will struggle to gain access to justice. APIL is here to fight their corner and I’m proud to be a part of that.”
