Firm features in top legal guide

Atherton Godfrey has, for the fourth year running,  received recommendations by The Legal 500 for the standard of its clinical negligence and personal injury work.

The Legal 500 is a prestigious series of guides that review the strengths and strategies of law firms in over 90 countries around the world and provides research and law firm rankings to help clients identify the best law firm for the job.

The recommendations are based on extensive research that includes the opinions of clients and peers along with a thorough assessment of the nature of work that the firms have been involved in.
In addition to Atherton Godfrey’s place in the guide, Christopher Noble, partner and head of the clinical negligence department, along with Bob Allen, associate solicitor, have also received personal recommendations for their work. Whilst, John McQuater, partner and head of litigation, is ranked as a Leading Lawyer and also receives the accolade of being listed in the Elite Lawyers guide.

John McQuater also features in the guide for his personal injury work, along with Diane Parker, partner and head of the personal injury department.

Besides sharing his skills with the team he leads, John also provides regular training for clinical negligence lawyers throughout the UK and Channel Islands. He is also an accomplished author on the subjects of personal injury and clinical negligence.
He said: “It is always an honour to have your work acknowledged. These recommendations are particularly important, not least because of the part that our clients play in them. Their endorsement of the service they received is testament to the hard work we put in to constantly striving to provide the highest level of service and to securing the best outcome for them.”

John, along with colleagues Christopher Noble, partner and head of clinical negligence, and Bob Allen, an associate with the firm, are also ranked as Leaders in the field of clinical negligence in the Chambers UK 2016 Directory.
