Specialist legal support for brain injury survivors

Atherton Godfrey has been successful in obtaining Headway re-accreditation, following a rigorous assessment of our legal services for brain injured people.

Headway is a specialist organisation that works to increase awareness and understanding of acquired brain injury and its consequences. They offer a well-established support network for survivors, their families and carers.

Dramatic advances in neurosurgery mean that more people are not only able to survive serious head injuries they are able to live much longer. This often means that complex care and support is needed, for long periods of time.

Where the brain injury is due to the negligence of another person, perhaps a road accident or accident at work, our highly skilled legal team works hard to make sure the injured is properly compensated, not just for now but for the long-term too.

Headway accreditation recognises this and also acknowledges that our services go much further than just obtaining the correct amount of compensation.

We support the injured and their family by helping them to appoint professionals who can make financial and welfare decisions where there are issues around mental capacity.

We also work closely with experienced case managers who understand the rehabilitation approach and can set up individually tailored personal care support schemes.
