High quality recruitment recognised

The Training and Recruitment Awards (TARAs), organised by LawCareers.Net, were recently held at a chic riverside reception at the Design Museum in London.
The awards allow represenatatives from law firms throughout England to gather and celebrate those who offer their recruits the best possible start to their legal careers.
Atherton Godfrey won the award in the Best Recruiter (small firm) category after battling it out against firms in London, Buckinghamshire, Kent and Sheffield.
Diane Parker, partner and the firms training principal, said: “Our recruitment process helps to ensure we recruit the right calibre of staff. Whilst the candidates legal talent and flair is important, so too is their focus on client care.”
Laura Armstrong, a trainee solicitor with Atherton Godfrey, said: “I think that the firm has an excellent recruitment process. The website provides all the information needed and they were prompt in responding to my application and informing me about the interview process.”
LawCareers.Net publisher, Matthew Broadbent said: “It is a priviledge to work with so many organisations which take the training and nurturing of ther talent so seriously. The profession is going through a period of change and entrenchment at the moment, and it is at times like this what those who have taken care of the roots of their firm, its people, will have the advatage. “
