Legal future all set for Leanne

After 10 years of determination and commitment, Leanne Dennett (25), has now qualified as a solicitor.
She left college with four A’ Levels and went on to study law at the University of Lincoln.
Her year out was spent travelling around Australia, Thailand and Singapore.
As soon as she returned home, Leanne threw herself straight back into her studies and completed her Legal Practitioners Course at the College of Law in York.
Leanne then went on to impress partners at Atherton Godfrey and was selected to join the training programme.
Working in the Clinical Negligence Team, Leanne manages a varied caseload and has successfully won damages for people who have suffered through negligent medical treatment received in hospitals and healthcare settings around the UK.
Over the last few years, Leanne has become well known among her clients for her responsive, clear and helpful advice and for getting excellent results.
Leanne said: “It has been hard work, but I’ve always been interested in law and really enjoy the challenge each day brings.”
Diane Parker, a partner and head of the firm’s Personal Injury department, said: “We have a robust training programme which coupled with the trainee’s dedication and commitment produces solicitors of the highest calibre.
“Qualifying though is not the end of the process as frequent ongoing training forms an essential part of their careers.
“We currently have seven trainees with us, all at various stages in their training contracts and have recently selected candidates for the next intake – there is some exceptional legal talent in and around Doncaster.”
Atherton Godfrey won the best recruiter award in 2013.
