Bernard works as part of the portal team where he assesses liability on public liability, employer liability and road traffic accident claims. He also instructs experts, values claims and ensures his clients are kept up to date.

He previously worked for firms in Sheffield where he gained experience of carrying out liability assessments, instructing medical experts, drafting all court documents and assisting colleagues in progressing claims to trail.

Bernard has a LLB Law degree from the University of Bradford and is currently taking the CiLEX course which will see him become a fully qualified legal executive in 2020.

Outside work, Bernard is an avid fundraiser. He has completed the 3 Peaks twice (2012 & 2014) to raise funds for Marie Curie Hospice. In 2015 he cycled 260 miles from Southport to Hornsea to raise funds for Westfield Sheffield cancer research.

He has varied interests including nature photography, gym, walking, socialising with friends and travelling. Bernard also speaks Creole, French and a little Spanish.
