Diane started at Atherton Godfrey in 1989 as a trainee, qualifying as a solicitor in 1991 and becoming a partner at the firm in 1994.
Her practice encompasses all types of claims from employers’ liability through to road traffic accidents. She has a growing practice in dealing with serious head and brain injury claims.
She is a fellow of the Association of Personal Injury lawyers and in July 2014 was awarded an MBA in Legal Practice from Nottingham Trent University.
Diane is Brown Owl at 24th Doncaster Brownies and the Division commissioner for Doncaster East Division Girl Guides. She served for many years as the chair of the Trustee Board of Doncaster CAB and spent a period of time as a trustee of York CAB. Diane spent four years as a member of the Solicitors Regulation Authority’s Education and Training committee and also served two terms as the president of the Doncaster and District Law Society (DDLS). She is currently the Honorary Secretary of DDLS.
Diane is also the Honorary Secretary of the Yorkshire Union of Law Societies and a committee member of the Yorkshire Legal Support Trust, the local branch of Access to Justice Foundation – a charity providing grants to help disadvantaged people protect their legal rights.
