Emma started with Atherton Godfrey in 2002 as a solicitor in the family department and was appointed as an associate solicitor in 2008 before moving to the personal injury team.
Emma specialises in personal injury claims, dealing with all aspects of Personal Injury Law, and is a member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers.
Emma undertakes advocacy dealing with various types of hearing from infant approval, stage 3 and interim applications through to fast track trials.
Emma is a member of Doncaster and District Law Society committee where she served as Treasurer for the Society for in excess of 10 years and was also appointed as President of the society in 2016.
Married with 3 children, Emma enjoys spending time with her family and friends as well as baking, gardening, reading and supporting her 3 children with their extra-curricular activities. She is also an active member of the Girl Guides, acting as both a Brownie and Guide leader within her local unit and also works as a volunteer at weekends for a local shop who have struggled to pay staff following the pandemic.
