Katy obtained a Masters degree in Law from Sheffield University, where she gained a distinction and also won the Basil Blackwell prize for first year results.
Katy qualified as a solicitor in 2003 having previously worked for a local authority and the Probation Service.
Since qualification Katy has specialised in private client work and has extensive experience in the administration of complex estates, including estates subject to Inheritance Tax, PI trusts and the drafting of complex wills.
Katy is a qualified member of STEP – the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners and is also able to offer specialised advice in respect of lasting powers of attorney, trusts and Court of Protection work.
Outside work Katy enjoys walking her dogs and spending time with her family.
