Kim joined Atherton Godfrey in October 2020 and specialises in children law.
Kim qualified as a solicitor in 1993 after studying for her law degree part-time in the evenings, while working in the law courts as a legal adviser. She then studied for her solicitor’s final exams while working weekends and term holidays.
Kim later gained her master’s degree, when she was also able to study advanced legal practice, marketing and planning law.
Kim has extensive experience in children’s law and family work, working in the family courts.
Kim is qualified in training and development and has been a local and regional trainer for judiciary, lawyers and staff. She has also lectured in law on various courses at local colleges.
She has also worked as a clerk for a Parish Council and served as a member of a school PTA.
Outside work, Kim enjoys spending time with her family, caravanning and property renovation.
