Matthew received his Law degree from Lancaster University in 2006, before going on to complete a Masters in Biotechnological Law and Ethics at the University of Sheffield in 2008. He then completed the Legal Practice Course in 2009, at Nottingham Law School.
Matthew qualified as a solicitor in 2013, specialising in clinical negligence at a niche firm in London. He then went on to work for a law firm in Southampton, before joining Atherton Godfrey in November 2018.
Matthew deals with a variety of clinical negligence issues, including delays in diagnosis, surgical errors and inappropriate treatment.
Matthew is a member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL) with accredited status as a litigator.
Outside work, Matthew enjoys reading, going to the theatre and spending time with family and friends.
