Michael graduated from York University with a 2:1 LL.B in Law. He then completed the Legal Practice Course at the College of Law in York in July 2012 with a Distinction.
Michael joined Atherton Godfrey in September 2012 where he gained experience working with the family team before joining the personal injury team and starting his training contract.
After qualifying as a solicitor in July 2016 Michael took up a position in our property department where he handles conveyancing transactions throughout the UK.
Michael specialises in both residential and commercial property, dealing with all aspects of transactions including sale and purchase of freehold and leasehold properties, re-mortgage, new build and transfers of equity.
He also has a keen interest in acting for property developers and has experience in dealing with transactions from site acquisitions through to sale of residential housing plots.
Outside work Michael enjoys cricket and in the summer umpires in the South Yorkshire Cricket League. He also enjoys racket sports.
