Stephanie graduated from Leicester University with a BA Honours degree in Classical Studies (Ancient History). After working in London, she embarked on a law conversion course before successfully completing her Law Society Finals.
During her training, and immediately following qualification, she worked in the Health Department for a firm specialising in defendant personal injury and clinical negligence litigation.
Stephanie is one of only a few members of staff to handle both personal injury and medical negligence cases. She has experience of dealing with a variety of claims arising from road traffic accidents, accidents at work and negligent medical treatment. Her recent cases have included claims brought on behalf of the estates of and/or for the benefit of the dependants of those who have died as a result of their injuries.
She belongs to both the Sheffield Medico-Legal Society and the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers, where she has accredited status as a senior litigator. Stephanie has taught law at Sheffield Hallam University, as an associate lecturer, on the Torts, Business Law and Law Clinic modules. She also provides some departmental training and has shared responsibility for Human Resources.
